The UXB20 from Sharp is an inkjet fax machine with some nice features and a low price tag. It has a 9,600 bps modem speed, which equates to about 15 seconds per page, and comes with a 448 KB memory, capable of holding up to 24 pages of incoming faxes if you run out of paper. The paper tray holds up to 100 pages, while a 10-page automatic document feeder makes sending multi-page faxes a snap.
The corded telephone that comes with the fax machine is ready for both caller ID and distinctive ring detection, and you can store up to 30 numbers in your speed dial directory to easily call or fax friends, family, or business associates. The UXB20 has a 392-lines/inch vertical maximum fax resolution (203 lines/inch horizontal) and is also capable of making 600 dpi copies. Documents up to 8.5 inches wide are accepted, while an EZ-NAV dial makes it easy to navigate the menu and adjust fax settings. Sharp provides a 90-day limited warranty on both parts and labor.

Not Such A Great Deal
I bought my Sharp Fax UX-B20 online about a year ago. Usually Sharp has a good name so I thought it was a good idea. I use a fax about 5-6 times a year,after about 6 months and only sending my third fax it was usuless. First of all it came with a very small ink cartridge that only printed about 15 sheets of paper before it ran out of ink. The manufacture states that the cartridge prints about 150 sheets of paper. I guess the manufacture does not place a full cartridge in their machines.
I also had much trouble sending faxes out. The instructions are difficult to follow and it isn't user friendly. Usually I am quite good at following directions and have worked with various machines for many years. I only wish I used it more before the warranty ran out.
To make matters worse the replacement cartridge is almost , practally half of what I paid for the fax. I should have replaced the Brothers Fax that I had for many years. I would not recommended this product at all. Poor quality in every aspect of it's workings.
Good Low Cost FAX Machine - Recommended
The Sharp UXB20 FAX Machine performs well for my limited needs in a standalone office FAX machine. We needed a simple machine for use in our shop and did not need all of the "bells and whistles" that can be found on more advanced all-in-ones (we also have a HP Officejet Pro 8500 Wireless All-In-One Printer that we really like).
The FAX and print quality are very good and it is easy to use. My only real complaint is that the Sharp UX-C70B Black Ink Cartridge (UX-B700 Fax) tends to "dry out" if it is not used for an extended period of time. This problem can be resolved by wiping the heads with a damp paper towel, but it is a bit of an annoyance.
Overall, this is a good basic FAX machine that performs as expected.

Great Price, Great Product
I purchased this product and it was received within 1 week and it was in excellent condition. I could not ask for better services or better product.
Do Not Buy
I would not recommend this product at all. I fax about 20 pages a week. It was fine for about a month, and now it jams nearly every time I try to send a fax, even after a thorough cleaning. It just took me 7 attempts to fax 6 pages.
