LESS THAN EXPECTED
I HAD HOPED THIS WOULD BE AN EASY WAY TO TRANSFER SLIDES TO DIGITAL FORMAT. IT IS EASY, BUT SOMEWHAT DISSAPOINTING. THE IMAGES ARE SHARP, BUT THE COLORS ARE NOWHERE NEAR AS GOOD AS WHEN SLIDES ARE TRANSFERRED USING A SCANNER. IT COULD BE THAN THE LIGHT SOURCE I USED WAS NOT GOOD FOR KODACHROME SLIDES, BUT I TRIED SEVERAL TYPES OF LIGHTING, INCLUDING THE SKY OUTSIDE, BUT STILL THE COLORS WERE NOT GOOD. I WOULD ONLY RECOMMEND THIS FOR QUICK DUPLICATIONS, NOT TRUE COLOR RENDITIONS.

It will be May before I can strng together several hours to use this package with my camera. However, my initial impression is pisitive and I look forward to having the hours to use it.
